The International Tabernacle Ministries was founded in 1991 after a well conceived vision by Rev Absalom M.C.Dlamini and Flora who are the Founding Pastors of the Ministry. Rev Absalom serves as the Lead Pastor of International Tabernacle Church and President of the International Tabernacle Ministries.
Our Vision
Our Vision is To be a Relevant Vision Driven Church and a Responsive Ministry to the needs and challenges of our societies and communities. To Take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the world by reaching out to the different target groups in their social locations without compromise and or offense.
Vision Background
The vision was well articulated, and it was marked by a concerted effort to reach particular groups that were targeted. The Ministry was started as Interior Mission reaching out to the International English speaking community in Swaziland. The vision targeted the above community including the Professionals,Academia,Business Community, different sectors of Leadership, urban and the contemporary generation. The target groups also included those in the Manifesto of Jesus Christ: dejected, broken hearted, emotionally bruised, destitute, marginalized and isolated sectors including youth with their modern sub cultures, with all kinds of hurting and wounded persons.
MODUS OPERANDI
With such a Vision there was a need to strategically devise a way of operationalizing it to become a reality. From inception all members were introduced to the culture of “reproducing after your own kind”. This meant that you are better positioned to influence people in your own profession and even in your societal grouping. This meant that you would reach out to the people within your profession either to witness or invite to Jesus or to Church. This approach was very effective and created a lot of enthusiasm.This is still maintained as a matter practice.

We believe in the autonomy of the local church to self propagate, self govern, self support under the fellowship of the entire International Tabernacle family. We have positioned ourselves to focus on the Vision to fulfill the Great Commission while we strengthen the local church hence the:

- National Vision – A church for every city, chiefdom and constituency
- Regional Vision – A church in every Province in the Countries
- Continental Vision – A church per country in Africa
- Global Vision – A church per Continent
- Universal Vision – A part of the Universal Church of the redeemed of Jesus
Christ
Biblical Foundation
This ministry was built on the Apostolic Pentecostal foundation of the New Testament and the strong Pentecostal heritage and legacy of the pioneers of Biblical Pentecostalism, the orthodox teachings of the Word as final authority in matters of faith and practice. We uphold the “Apostolic Creed” as it articulates tenets and Pillars of our Faith. We subscribe to the “Five Solas” of the Great Reformers as it represents important aspects of our salvation.
The Life Cycle Of The Church
We believe that the life of the church is dynamic and goes through many phases
for her existence and effectiveness. The dynamic cycle of our ministry is as
follows:
We Reach out to the lost and sick, Rescue them by salvation in Christ, Restore them to God and to self esteem by counselling, Root them by teaching, Resource them by equipping for ministry, Release them to serve and minister, Reproduce themselves by going out to evangelize to replenish the church.

This is our church slogan for engagement. We strive to make everyone feel part of the church by participation as we create an environment to enhance our slogan.
